The sheriff’s office says Tonya L. Dunning appeared in Williamson County Court on Dec. 19 of last year and was sentenced to serve five days in the Williamson County Jail starting Jan. 15 at 10 a.m. As of 10:15 that morning, she had failed to report to the jail as ordered by the court.

Several attempts were made by deputies to find Dunning. She was seen just before 10 p.m. Wednesday driving a vehicle going east on Route 13 at Spillway Road. Deputies stopped Dunning and took her into custody. She was cited for Escape and Expired Driver’s License.

Dunning was taken to the Williamson County Jail.
