MARION – Williamson County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman over the weekend after responding to a report of a theft and financial exploitation case involving an 87-year-old victim on Feb. 4.

Investigators gathering evidence were able to determine that on multiple occasions from December of last year to this month the employed caregiver, Angelyn R. Messick, stole in excess of $23,000.

Deputies served an arrest warrant on Messick Sunday on charges of Theft and Financial Exploitation of an Elderly Person. She was lodged in the Williamson County Jail.
