CHRISTOPHER – A house exploded leading to a fire Thursday morning in Christopher.

Several area fire departments were called in to help Christopher firefighters battle the blaze in the 400 block of South Snider Street.

Christopher Fire says one firefighter was hurt when the porch collapsed.

The fire is under investigation.
