HAMILTON COUNTY – Sarah Jane Moles, age 79 and a resident of McLeansboro, IL, passed away at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023 at her residence in Broughton, IL.

Visitation will be held from noon to 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro, IL

A graveside funeral service and burial will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 22 at Hopewell Cemetery in McLeansboro.

Sarah was born September 21, 1943 in Princeton, KY to Lanis Joyce and Tommy Louise French. Sarah was employed as a caregiver and was employed by Community Care for several years. She attended Hopewell Baptist Church, McLeansboro, IL. She loved to read, do puzzles and embroidering.

Survivors include her daughters Helena Jane Russell and husband Rodney, Dale, IL; Gena Louise Essary and husband Russell, Broughton; son Clarence Martin, Jr. and wife Tammy, Carmi, IL; granddaughters Randi Pippin and husband Chad, Norris City, IL; Ashley McNeal, McLeansboro; Cassandra McNeal, Fairfield, IL; grandsons Jared Russell and wife Amber, Norris City, IL; Shawn Russell and wife Anita, Robinson, IL; David Russell and wife Odessa, Seattle, WA; Alex Carr, McLeansboro, IL; great grandchildren Ivy Pippin, Ashton Pippin, Ahriana Pippin, Alise Pippin, Alina Russell, Brinley Russell and Cambria Russell. One brother Thomas Lee.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one brother.

Memorials may be made to The Charity of Choice and will be accepted by Harre Funeral Home.
